Terrible is led by two unlikely friends, brought together by the love of cigars.

Grace - The Pro

Grace was born in La Habana, Cuba, but raised in Miami. She went on to attend law school in Washington, D.C.

One Summer almost 30 years ago, she fell completely in love with cigars after a spiritual awakening in a local tobacconist. The worn-out wooden floors, walk-in humidor, aroma of fine cigars and the dried tobacco leaves that draped from the ceiling took her back to her childhood and conversations about her grandfather and uncles that worked at a cigar factory in Cuba. She applied (on the spot) for a job and became the first woman salesperson in almost a century to work there.

She was stolen away by The Grand Havana Room in Beverly Hills, and went on to become the buyer of the Washington D.C. location and then opened their New York club. It didn’t take long for Davidoff to catch her, placing her in their Madison Avenue location.

She later worked for General Cigar Company and Davidoff of Geneva Distribution before finally leaving to start Humidor Express.

Grace’s pedigree in the industry was built on her hard work and attention to detail. Her dynamic palate was always relied upon to find and bring the best cigars possible to both amateurs and connoisseurs alike.

Nigel - The Rookie

Nigel was born in Southwark, London to Sierra Leonian parents. From an early age, he dreamt of becoming a professional footballer (soccer player). Against all odds, Nigel went on not only play in the English Premier League but becoming Captain of various teams. His time at Aston Villa FC and Westham United earned him a reputation as a natural leader.

Nigel traveled his entire professional career, enjoying cigars as a pastime. Playing MLS Soccer in Montreal and Vancouver exposed Nigel to New World Cigars and his passion grew. He retired and entered the world of sports media. During this time, he spent a lot more time with his father-in-law, who is an avid smoker.

Nigel loves to fish and enjoy smoking cigars and experimenting with pairings. There is no better way to live than being on the water with a drink and cigar.
